Peak Consulting Engineers, LLC*, performed the structural design and construction phase engineering services for these two homes, each over 3000 square feet, at Elks Point in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Some unique requirements of this project included incorporating the existing rocks and boulders into the foundation system and the design of timber moment resisting frames to handle significant gravity and lateral loads. |
